BS, these idiots screwed over this lady and rather than admit they were looking out or themselves, have the audacity to claim they were trying to help this woman.... and united proceeded to pull this woman off the plane so she missed her sick mom's last moments.

You would think United learned its lesson about pulling people off the plane but no, and thanks to these idiots at Traveler NOThelpdesk and United not caring a bit, they really screwed this lady.

I’m thinking the change in date directly by the airline meant the travel agent was going to miss out on commissions so cancelled the flight so the customer would talk to the agent about rebooking a new flight to protect their commissions. What a huge mistake if so!

They still get paid commission regardless. The airline usually charges a fee to cover this when you make a change directly with them. Regardless the TA gets paid.
